Join members of the NYSCSS Curriculum & Assessment committee in a conversation with Christine Radez, Social Studies Associate from the office of Curriculum and Instruction, NYSED. Ms. Radez will share information on aligning classroom practices with the new Global History & Geography II Regents exam, and NYSED’s Civic Readiness and Cultural Responsive Initiatives. Christine Radez is the Social Studies Associate in the Office of Curriculum and Instruction where she provides expertise to school administrators, teachers and parents on the NYS K-12 Social Studies Framework and the Regents assessments. Prior to this she was an instructional administrator at the SUNY HVCC Educational Opportunity Center. Christine was a classroom teacher for fifteen years and taught both on Long Island and in rural upstate at the high school level.
