Budget and Finance Committee

The Budget and Finance Committee will consist of five (5) members who will be appointed for staggered three-year terms. The Treasurer will serve as the chairperson. Its purpose is to facilitate the development of the annual convention budget and the development and presentation of the annual operating budget of NYSCSS.  Duties of the Budget and Finance Committee include:

  1. To facilitate the development and presentation of the annual operating budget.
  2. To facilitate the development of the annual convention budget with the convention chair based on previous experience and anticipated revenue and expenses.
  3. To provide long range planning for anticipated budget considerations and expenditures.
  4. To recommend investment options for reserve funds to be managed by the Treasurer.
