Discovering Revolutionary History in Celebration of America's 250th Anniversary

Please join us for our third year of our four-part series commemorating the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, in partnership with Fort Ticonderoga. 

9:30-9:45-Arrival at the base of Mount Defiance (Geography at Fort Ticonderoga)

9:45-10:30-The Power of Place: Mount Defiance, Ticonderoga, and the Crucial Champlain-Hudson Corridor at the top of Mount Defiance

10:30-Depart for Fort Ticonderoga

10:45-Resources and Strategies to Explore the American Revolution in New York for the 250th Anniversary (Rich Strum/Tim Potts)

11:15-Pavilion/King’s Garden Tour/Northern Tour

11:45-Lunch at America's Fort Cafe or on your own

1:15-1:55-Walking tour of the Fort with Rich Strum & Tim Potts

2:00-2:25-1776: Weapons Demonstration

2:30-3:00-Mick and Mack (oxen) or other experiential opportunity

3:30-Optional cruise on the MV Carillon on Lake Champlain (not included in the cost of this program–reserve early via the Fort Ticonderoga website as this cruise often sells out)

3:30-5:00 Explore Fort Ticonderoga on your own, visit the Log House store, or walk the grounds.
