Join us for our Book Club discussion of Anne Applebaum’s Red Famine: Stalin's War on Ukraine. We will discuss the book, focus on Ukraine and the historical connection between past and present human rights violations, and share ideas on how to incorporate it into your classroom

If you’re interested in going deeper into the history of the Ukraine War, the Human Rights Committee is sponsoring a Virtual Book Club to discuss Anne Applebaum’s Red Famine: Stalin's War on Ukraine. We will discuss the book, focus on Ukraine and the historical connection between past and present human rights violations, and share ideas on how to incorporate it into your classroom. Please note the meeting will take place via Zoom and all participants are expected to obtain a copy of the book on their own.

A CTLE certificate for 1 hour will be available at the conclusion of the webinar.
