NYSED Update: U.S. History & Government (Framework) - Part III Civic Literacy Essay

The NYSCSS Curriculum & Assessment committee is pleased to host a presentation on the recently released USH&G Part III Civic Literacy essay prompt, anchor papers and scoring sets.
The presentation will include information on the new USH&G (Framework) Regents exam test design, and the connection between the new Global II and the new USH&G exam. Presenters will focus on the Part III Civic Literacy Essay, including key insights for developing CLEs, followed by review of the Part III rubric and discussion of Sample Student Papers.
