SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER
STUDENT VIDEO CONTEST
LOOKING FOR A WAY TO HELP YOUR STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT HOW TO CREATE CHANGE?
Consider our Speak Truth To Power Video Contest that gives middle and high school students the opportunity to embrace the responsibility of making the world a better place through learning about social justice. Judges will look for 3-5 minute videos that demonstrate independence, content knowledge and creative storytelling - no prior video experience is required and contest uploads are simple. Past winners have explored issues including voting rights, child labor, bullying, domestic violence and more.
Along with a grand prize, where the winning film will be premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Speak Truth To Power Video Contest will honor three winning entries in both the middle and high school divisions. The contest is a collaboration with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, the American Federation of Teachers and the Tribeca Film Institute.
