Are you looking for an exciting professional development opportunity this summer? Each year C-SPAN invites three social studies teachers in grades 6-12, who are highly familiar with C-SPAN’s programs, to join our Education department in Washington, DC for three weeks to help us develop teaching materials using new and existing resources.
The application deadline for C-SPAN's 2013 Teacher Fellowship is Friday, February 8.
Each fellow receives an award valued at $7,000 which includes housing and travel expenses. Fellows may also participate in C-SPAN’s Summer Educators’ Conference where they share their ideas with education colleagues about creating innovative learning experiences using C-SPAN’s programs and websites.
