The State Education Department has just released the revised draft of the New York State Teaching Standards for a second round of public feedback. The preliminary draft of the NYS Teaching Standards was revised after the teaching standards workgroup reviewed public comment and feedback from the first survey conducted in July. This current draft was discussed by the Board of Regents at their October 2010 meeting. The Board of Regents and the Department would like to hear from as broad an audience of interested parties as possible.
